I don't get the Kiffin thing. Has anyone bothered to look at the Ole Miss schedule and record? They have played a very weak schedule. Three SEC games Kentucky, LSU and South Carolina. They lost two of those including one at home to Kentucky.
I compare Kiffin to the hot chick at the bar ... gets a ton of attention and loves being in the spotlight. But that doesn't always make a good wife. The D has turned a corner and I'm starting to wonder if DJ could be the X factor needed to get the O humming. I think UGA's D is going to be the ultimate test but I have a feeling we're going to give them all they can handle. If Napier wins two more and gets us into a bowl game, I'd like to see him stay.
Not to mention Clemson didn't really take off until he left. I am excited to see what this team can do the rest of the season. That is not a statement I would have made three weeks ago.
If he does get canned, I think Cignetti needs to be the first call. He's the only hire out there that checks all of the boxes.
A 6-6 record third year imo doesn't deserve a fourth but keep in mind who has the power to keep or fire BN. Right now it's SS. I firmly believe SS really likes BN, he can say with the difficulty of our schedule BN isn't going anywhere, plus you have the huge buyout, plus you have the fact the players seem to love coach, plus UF doesn't have a President, plus to fire BN means yet again SS has failed and I doubt he wants to admit that. So, whereas many gator fans are ready for a change the power at the top may feel differently.
Remember Treon Harris against Georgia in 2014? 3 for 6 for 27 yards. We won that game, too. Same game as the McNeely fake field goal TD.
Actually, I'm pretty sure not everyone does. There seem to be quite a few people here with the outlook that if a thing must be done it should be done right away.
A real OC would be great. As far as replacing coaches, I do believe he has already replaced quite a few coaches in his short tenure here, so, I don't really feel the same way about that part. Are there any defensive coaches remaining that were on his original staff? The recruiting has not been that bad, but, this year's class is definitely low in numbers; winning would cure that.
Take a pain pill, Doc. This is the post game thread and we played a complete game and won convincingly. Maybe enjoy it for five minutes.
True. We haven’t told them yet. We want to keep it a surprise. oh, and beating UGA has always been the best and Vince Dooley politicking to get our sec championship taken away puts him up there with Chairman Mao.
I’m posting it again because it was so perfect it should be given a curtain call..another bow. Well done. Kudos.
