Love the play at 2:02 where AR flips the ball to Montrell and he gets hit late out of bounds and just throws the defender to the ground. Wow!
FSU will be tough. We put together a really good half of football yesterday. But we have done that before this year. let’s see the carry over.
Fisher not calling any TOs there at the end of the game was telling. We were only up by 10 and they were technically still in the game. Jimbo gave up and lost with all 3 TOs unused. Wonder how his players felt about that
Not a single play out of 21 personnel until up 10 and running the clock out. I'm happy to see the change, but can't help but be concerned that Napier's hand was forced due to injury.
Payback for Jimbo has been way overdue. I think the last loss we put on him, Taylor Jacobs had a great game. Really filled up the score sheets.
What would you like to discuss? I was on and off the in game thread yesterday and noted the change in scheme in the second half that many of us have called for. It was successful against a team that isn’t average at full strength let alone a team down numerous starters. There was still the rather poor 2 minute drill before the half(if you can call it that). Hopefully the second half can be a spring board to close out with 3 more wins. Be cautious as the first half we gave up 24 points which is what TAAM scores on a per game average on the year. Is that what I should be all thrilled about? Many here yesterday were really having a fit during the first half about the play on both sides of the ball. Many are full on ditch AR, not an opinion I share. But I think those are fans who screamed for AR last year and chastised Mullen for not playing AR sooner. There’s always the crew who want the next guy if the current guy isn’t going 25/30 for 400 and 5TDs. What would you like to discuss?
I’ve seen here we are at least 2-3 classes just to get the talent here be abuse Mullen was such a terrible recruiter. Is that not your opinion?
Well I think there is a pretty solid historic trend of a first year coach opening up the playbook as players learn to execute and play properly
Usually we see that on offense. Not so much on Defense, plus didn’t we play more underclassmen yesterday?
