I don't read the game threads. there are just too many posts to read and watch the game closely. Has nothing to do with negativity.
I stay away from it for the same reason I haven't watched a game in a bar in a long time... Morons jumping on players, coaches, and refs from the first series.
Game threads are inherently over-dramatic. Sports that attract the most eyes are going to have the most people posting. More people posting means more dramatic posts. I generally avoid all of them except for baseball. Aside from Gatorgal’s awesome pbp, it’s a pretty knowledgeable and not overly dramatic crowd. Softball threads are always good for some laughs. That’s a dramatic little bunch.
I stay away out of respect for the team as anytime I've partaken in such threads things go bad. That probably happens from reading the negative posts and believing them. You would think you were discussing the game with Georgia fans half of the time.
Me me me. Still the same douche he’s always been. Watch the post-game interview with our Coach. What a high-character leader he is. It’s a big part of why so many of these players chose UF. Because of Billy - not just winning football games, but his influence on young men and the high-character example he sets for them to follow. Night And Day Difference
That’s actually my biggest problem with the OGT — it’s impossible to watch the game and keep up with all that’s being said. You take the time to post a couple of lines and you’re 2 pages removed from the action. Too confusing for the most part — but it’s fun to post when we score, that’s for sure
I usually dive bomb OGT in between possessions. No other way for me to do it. I really hate typing and reading forums on a phone, so I go to my desktop in my office.
I’m soooooo bummed for someone like Jason Marshall though. Dude kept his head down his first 3 years through the ups and downs and just when he was starting to get national recognition…he’s out for the season.
He played in 7 games. With the way they hand out extra years now, I wouldn’t bet my house against it, but would still say it’s highly unlikely. Think he’s probably ready to move on to the league at this point anyway. Hopefully he’ll be healthy enough to put on a show at the combine.
