In spite of. That time management at the end of the game was Billy being Billy. That and playing not to lose once we had the final lead.
My son asked me, “who is Jaxon Dart’s father and why would he let his son cry, twice on TV, over a football game?”
A little passion is nothing to be ashamed about and Ole Miss played well and they played hard and they played with sportsmanship
Way more of an “OM made mistakes” than a “UF played well” vibe from the TV screw today. I really like what I see though. These kids playing for BN and recruits are noticing too. #GoGators
They had quite a bit more yardage than us, but our defense came up big time after time, as Cydni Lauper says. We are very physical on the defensive front and played huge on 3rd and 4th downs the whole game. And our O-line has been playing better. Ole Miss has one of the best rushing defenses in D1 and we ran it pretty well on them. I have blamed Napier for losses for almost 3 years, so I have to give him credit for the wins the last 2 weeks. He's got these players motivated and in spite of all the injuries they have come together and done the job of late. After the Texas debacle they could have packed it in, but they came back stronger than ever this season. Kudos.
Have to give helmet stickers to the DT. Announcers really chapped about Pegues not running over center, but Des was 2 yards in the backfield and forced it outside. We have been consistently winning one on ones in short yardage this year. You would think Ole Miss would have noticed from last week that LSU was forced to pass.
It looks like he tackled three fans, kicked a couple garbage cans, and had to eat a bowl and a half full of all the stuff he talked.
Careful, we have a statue out front of a guy who has publicly cried more than once. Passion for winning so deep you hurt is the culture we are craving. Being so close to realizing your dreams and the dreams of your team that your spent a lifetime building and then watching them fall apart in real time because of a poor decision you made, all while being cheered in the loudest venue in the country for your poor decision would make any of us cry if we were true competitors. OTOH, maybe he’s just a big pu$$y.
Holy cow - big win and you are going to pee in the punch bowl. Look, nobody with a brain says BN is a final product and none of us knows where we will be in 2 years. BN may be fired in two years and you can dance on his grave or he may be rolling, but if you cannot enjoy this win today b/c of a need to crap on our coach, that is a you issue.
You undoubtedly have to be the only Gator fan in the universe who wants “to feel a little better” after our win today. Statistics are for losers and football games are not decided on someone’s computer.
