So, it's Door Number 3 with a silly "I know you are, but what am I" thrown in. I could say "welcome to the real world, Millinial", but it would not serve any purpose. Have a good day.
A social media message by Brandon Spikes about not being allowed in and onto the sidelines yesterday.
Obviously I have a problem with that... I mean that's my post right? If the guy goes out and tweets bitching about not being allowed sideline access, the door is open to say what really happened. Imo, either tell the story or just forgo the trust me I know but can't tell you routine. It doesn't convince anyone.
If I'm told something in confidence I will not repeat it. I can let others know there's more to the story though. That's what I did. If you don't believe it that's your decision. Fine. It won't affect me.
A key question regarding AR's return, will there be an open competition next year? Reading the tea leaves I think not and that's not a good thing. So far 7 games into the season, AR has yet to show any improvement in the passing game. I will say it again you cannot win in this league being a so so passer. Yet, I think BN will hitch is wagon to AR no matter what.
Is there a link where I can see this penalty. I was at the game and I didn’t even hear them announce what it was…no replay…just a game changing play wiped out
I mentioned Toney pitts and trask. Youok dude? It’s gonna be alright. Your boy mullen is doing espn work if you miss him you can catch him there
BN was not afraid going for it verses UT knowing we have to keep up with their scoring. He rolled the dice. It became obvious to most fans that our D was not stopping lsu and it was going to be a score fest. Why all of a sudden he was playing with scared money I can't understand. Please understand in all of my postings I am not calling for BN's head. He needs and deserves time to make his changes however it doesn't mean all of his decisions are infallible.
I can't find it yet. Our Dlineman tackled their QB, driving him straight into the ground and landing squarely on him. All he had to do was hit him and back off, or hit him and avoid landing on him. Can't drive the QB into the ground the way he did.
The vibe I got from the Stricklin hiring article was that he noticed Billy was winning in the Sun Belt and figured that his winning would translate to the SEC. Urban was sick because he had no more Tebow and didn't plan for the future. McElwain was nutty anyways. I forget which particular win it was but in the postgame he said on national television the win "doesn't matter...just as long as we sold some popcorn (points to the stands)." Mullen turned out to be one of those coaches that lived and died by having certain people on his staff. I remember about 4 years ago with the Titans, they were cleaning house and Mike Mularkey refused to fire his OC because that was his guy. The office said either the OC goes or everyone goes 100%. Mularkey fell on the sword and was canned with the rest of them. Mullen was a fool for doing this on Grantham instead of letting him go, and for not being better at recruiting. Pressure cooker? It's the coach/scheme. In the pros, Brian Daboll stepped into a bottom basement dumpster fire, and they're 4-1 and the single loss was a FG that got away. Napier seems to calm the team in that there's no drama issues, but that scheme is total garbage.
Understand your point however, is our D players worse than all of the sec teams? Are they worse than the vast majority of defenses cause our stats say we suck at just about every D stats at the present. I get it, we don't have the most talented D players, but if your saying they're worse than 80% of teams who play college football that I disagree. I suspect we have mostly 3 and 4 star players on D right now. Either they have never been developed that includes this staff or we were so very off in evaluating them and the star ratings were really off on all the players we have recruited.
