To be fair the offense fell off when Brian Johnson left, somebody Mullen handpicked. He was Trasks OC.
The whole "DBU" thing is absurd anyway. It's been a long time since anyone has seriously claimed us as DBU but these people still think the claim that nobody is making needs to constantly be refuted.
People keep saying this nonsense but it's BS. If we're beat you will complain. Making the offense score in 12 plays instead of two at least increases the chances they make an error.
Our 3rd down defense performance has to be worse than 3rd and Grantham. LSU had one single punt! One farking punt for the game.
And look how improved Jalen Hurts looks under Johnson's tutelage with the Eagles. It's becoming increasingly clear as to who was actually the brainchild behind the 2019-20 offense, and it wasn't Mullen.
It truly was hard to watch. We looked lost. Our DB’s couldn’t cover a leftover container, let alone a competent WR.
I agree w you but 35 is enough to win. Rushing 4 and playing the soft coverage is never going to work.
Could have used points at the end of the first half. 2 minutes with 3 timeouts is enough time to score from anywhere on the field. Scared money didn't make money.
Corey Raymond has been around, and he is a very good coach. I'm positive he knows how to tighten up coverage and have a lockdown secondary. I don't know why we are so soft.
