Did they? Do they have a win with a team with a winning record? Asking, because thinking about their schedule I cannot think of one. Wait, that's right LSU. Who completely pissed the game away, playing their first game, when the Holes had one under their belt. If they had our schedule they would have been 7-5, and if BN has their "successful" season in Year 3, he will be on the bread line.

I cannot be too exercised about this game since we had a starting quarterback on the year who checked out mid season and who had the leadership abilities of a wet blanket, a second string quarterback who was arrested and an historically bad defense.

If we aren't going to try, then why are we fielding a team in the first place? Go all in and COMPETE or drop it and become a gymnastics school.

 

Well let's hope this starts a streak of winning seasons like the ones we had coming off of those two losing ones.

 

i think it’s a function of the pac 12 and bowl tie ins. They have smaller fan bases and bowls, outside of USC fans, want biggest crowds as possible and pac 12 has low support compared to other conferences.

 

We are scared money when it comes to football / basketball. We are absolutely all in on the Olympic sports. We’re gonna dominate the directors cup!

Was Vandy a terrible loss? If not, why not?

 

Looking at next year’s schedule, it’s tough to come up with 7 sure wins.

FWIW, he can just about go 3-9 next year (winning only McNeese St, Charlotte, and Vandy) and still keep his job IF he’s got a Top 5 recruiting class coming in. What’s the likelihood of that?

Also FWIW, Billy SHOULD get 4+ years aside from some sort of scandal. We all know that won’t happen unless we improve dramatically, though.
