Absolutely, I don’t know why more trolls don’t end up having conversations with themselves. Being a pessimist falls within norms, but when they act like that guy, I’m surprised GC staff doesn’t block his IP address and accounts. Others may spend more time on GC if not for those posters.

 

At the yard we park in, there was a young German guy who was on a business trip here and decided to spend his last afternoon taking in an American football game. We spent the tailgate talking to him about what to expect. I can only say that I guarantee he came away impressed with the atmosphere. You could not be at that game and not be, especially if it was all new to you. Not possible.

 

Big Des had a great game. He even locomoted his 450-pound frame around the backfield chasing down Nussmeier and getting a QB hurry for an incompletion. My wife could not stop laughing.

ETN averaging almost 1 yard less per carry at Georgia than he did at Florida so far. 6.1 per carry 2023, 5.2 per carry 2024.

 

Not to mention that our RB1, RB2, and RB3 have been down. He would have had full run of the house. Big mistake. BIG BIG mistake! Instead, RB4 and RB5 have become stars.

Even more so considering the horrid start, we got off to. I wanted Napier's ass fired after the first few games in. It's starting to look a lot better. Our offensive line looks to be improved. Our linebackers are good with good depth. Our secondary has been beat to hell and back and they're still piecing it together back there and playing hard of the receivers not starting yesterday, there's been some glimpses of some talent there, but they seem to stay banged up.

 

Damn, I wish I went to that game. I haven't had to say that for a while.

I took a couple German guys to a Padres game years ago. Jesus Christ, I forget how complicated baseball is until you have to explain it to those guys for 2 1/2 three hours.
