And then he says no/you don’t get him.
Wouldn’t that leave us in a wonderful position…

My view was that DJ was going to be running plenty of times because he had to so why increase his odds of injury? I got a bunch of bacon for that post. Lol.
But my question for all who didn't agree with my assessment of calling a designated run play for DJ is, once DJ was out would they recommend calling a run play for the third stringer if he was considered a good runner? Of course not.

Exactly...7 is the minimum. I think where Kirk got confused (Ohio St education...so not surprising), is that only the end on each side would be an eligible receiver in that formation. On a running play it wouldn't matter at all.

You’re kidding, right? If not, you might want to look at some history. Johnny Vaught, Archie Manning…to name only a couple.

    686 wins in 119 years. 5.76 wins a year.
You realize their best record with Archie was 8-3 and his overall record was 22-10 right?

Have you seen his college stats? More interceptions than touchdowns. I believe he had 31 touchdowns passing and 40 interceptions.

We clearly have a different operational definition of “football school.”

I just feel like they’ve not been very relevant at all with consistency the last 30 years until Lane came along.
