Indeed he was and was the loudest voice about how the Gators didn't deserve to be there. 41-14 later and he is a permanent Gator hater.

It's should be no surprise at all. They used to make them play on carpet with concrete underneath.

I’ll say this as I rewatch the game…if there was a game where you had to go to your 3rd string QB, THIS was the game and perfect situation for it to happen in. Rivalry game with the lead and your D is playing excellent. Max Brown was thrusted into action last year backed by a D who couldn’t stop a colony of ants.

I know he’s limited arm talent wise, but I hope that with a better OL than we had last year when Max Brown (who’s thrown for 3 td’s to 6 ints for Charlotte this season btw), that CBN doesn’t go too conservative with the playcalling like we did against FSU (who to their credit had a whale of a DL last year).

When you all rewatch the game, there WERE throws there to be made in the passing game but you could sense he was hyped up. I hope, even if/when EW3 is byke next week (hopefully) we don’t resort to a horizontal offense

True, but he is our QB in the very hard remaining games. I think we should support him despite the fact that he is our number 3 QB

OR he would have had a MASSIVE revolt on the roster after the players pointed out all the flaws!

lol. I actually played some when younger. It’s just that I never played enough to get any better and it was frustrating. By the third hole I’d wish I was fishing.

Meyer and UF made him look like a joke, maybe that’s why he can be such a pud toward UF.

That is the main difference between the offense under Mertz and the offense under Lagway. Lagway has hit the deep ball and hit it often. That prevents the defense being able to stack the box against the run while also sitting on the route combinations that Napier loves to call. Lagway’s running ability is nice, but it is not necessary for him to run to move the offense.

Napier may be snake-bit, but part of that is related to coaching decisions and the little things/attention to detail that are necessary to have a winning program. As some say, it was mostly our players slipping and sliding on the playing surface, but not the UGA players. What was the difference?

Hell yeah. Sadly, I was a student when we struggled mightily in the late 1980s with qb play. I’m used to it. Seemed like we had little chance to complete passes then but I cheered my ass off nonetheless. I’ll do the same now.

Yeah, it was so awesome watching our offense completely evolve and DJ to drop those dimes. I really believe he is a generational talent.

And quite frankly the excuses should’ve ended after Year 1. If you have to continue to make excuses for a losing coach in Year 3….

Rumors out there that Georgia and Alabama are already working him. Can't confirm them at all. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if it were true though.

Prior to yesterday, we’ve been averaging 30 points a game this season.

The possibilities if we were recruiting like he does.
We could have won that game yesterday with the team we have now.
Don't feel good about our chances the rest of the season with Aidan Warner at QB.
Let's hope they can get him comfortable and settled.

This is what he really thought of his so called “brothers” at Florida. Had he run wild yesterday, he would’ve been mocking the Gator chomp too. Thankfully he fizzled and tapped out.
