Fan bases with way better records are just as bad as ours. Go check out some of the game threads on Vol Nation the bama board or the OSU board.

It abiut results and cash now man.

That myopic view that somehow Gator fans have a monopoly on this behavior get really old. It. is. like. that. everywhere.

And, the ABC/ESPN Georgia worshippers that kept giving us that BS about him having nothing but love for his brothers at Florida after the unprompted trashing of UF for no good reason was also weak. That garbage about him being RB2 here was also ridiculous. He only ran a few less runs than Johnson here (11.9 attempts per game vs. 12.6), and, he's in the same multi-back rotation at Georgia (just like anywhere else in the modern era) with less yards per carry behind a drastically better line (5.1 at Georgia this year, 5.7 at Florida last year). ETN is a bunch of wind.

They were drooling over the puppies like it was the greatest defensive performance they’ve ever seen, the way they hyped the adversity uga faced with injuries at times was crazy. They lost their minds over the simplest plays uga made.

And, so we should just accept the poor winning sportsmanship in the game today just because it happens in a win? No.

Yeah, what was that? I mean, next week's game is on ESPN/ABC/Disney/Hulu again and I'm guessing the rest will be too, so what a stupid statement that was. Herbstreit is a biased announcer who needs to shut his mouth with his opinions that torque off half the viewers watching the games.

That is 'wet streets cause rain' sort of thinking.

Napier's sideline struggles are the root cause of both fan discontent and poor recruiting.

    Winning cures everything.

Were you harping on spurriers poor sportsmanship when he ran a flea flicker up 4 tds on Georgia with a minute left? Or Urban calling timeouts to extend the game in a route of Georgia? It was ok for those instances for “reasons”?

It is fun when we are good enough to be the team able to display such poor performances and it is not fun when we aren’t.

The mantra of most fans - it is poor sportsmanship when other teams do it to us but not when we do it.

Looking at that Gates int…..Cormani was damn near step for step with the WR and woulda had that pick himself.

He still had a ways to go in bump and run since he lacks the strength but the coverage ability IS there

Spike, I get that every fan will have a biased view of his own team. That's fandom. But, Spurrier did that stuff to return the favor for the same kind of crap he experienced in his games vs. Georgia as a player. And, Meyer did it to respond to what Richt did the year before in the endzone. It's an endless cycle that probably won't go away no matter what I want. Throat slashing and taunting are not the same thing, though. That kind of crap has no place on the field.

I noticed that, too. That highlights how bad of a decision Beck made on that throw when two defenders could have easily intercepted it.

Shout out to the OL as well. We harp on Sale but he’s quietly built a solid unit

Badger missed a block on Lagway’s next to last drive when Lagway ran to the sideline and almost got the first but it woulda went for a HUUUUGE gain. His missed block also got Dike decleated on that screen pass

if we’re relatively healthy in the secondary next weekend, I would send THE HOUSE at Ewers often.

Looking at it from an analysis standpoint, he had absolutely NO business throwing both of those passes. Foolish decision making on his part. They could be in a world of trouble the next few weeks if he doesn’t take care of the ball at Ole Miss and Tennessee

On the Dike decleat, Badger was looking back and wasn't even paying attention to the play developing. Very strange. He didn't just miss the block, it seems like he missed the whole play. Not sure what was going on there.

The implication to that statement is that Napier would be a more successful recruiter if UF had a different fan base. To that I'd just say that every major fan base gets frustrated and impatient with losing, there's no way to swap one fan base for another or "better one," and if the fan base does change somehow the odds are its for negative reasons as people give up or tune out. And I don't think that's what any of us actually want to happen.

They want to win and go to bowl games. Billy our first coach in 15-20 years that ( maybe longer) can’t get us to bowl game.

I’ll say something I NEVER thought I would at the beginning of the year or after suffering through many “process” press conferences: Napier inspires me. The guy could have packed it in after game two, coasted into early retirement, invested wisely, and accumulated generational wealth. But he was as good as his word: he evaluated every aspect of the team, including coaching, got his players to go hard, and transformed the team during the season. I respect the man, regardless of what happens.
