Saw this on high top sports and thought it was telling.

We have had real deal dline production for the last 40 yrs. We haven’t necessarily had multiple nfl dlinemen but we have had athletic players who could run and tackle with attitude. They were by and large much better than the current group.

our current team is in transition and they will get better but based on production ytd they on par with past iterations

 

I whine about these UF only replays so much even my wife has picked up on it. Happens with regularity...if people don't see it, just don't know what to say.

Uga has always recruited well but KS has taken it to another level. Plus, he has acquired lots of good coaches. They are going to be great sadly for a long time.
The quicker we can get to top OL/DL the quicker we can challenge them.

It's nice to see Pearsall sticking up for GM. But if you really don't care what the guy thinks/tweets, don't give them the validation of a response.

 

What makes you think that? We struggled to win against USCe. What makes you think we would tear up the ACC? We aren't the Pell/Spurrier/Meyer Gators. face it. We're a middle of the pack P5 team. Don't delude yourself into thinking we are average simply because we are in the SEC...

 

For many of us, it seemed like a couple years ago. But then again, so was Lindsay Scott. You gotta remember, there are a lotta Old Gators here...

Weird that any fan would put our loss on Mertz. He didn't have a great day, but that is expected when our OL doesn't pass block well for him. Patrick Mahomes could've been the QB back there yesterday, and the result would still have been an ugly loss.

 

This. There is a difference between playing USCe with their 120th ranked defense and Georgia...

 

Jalen Carter (from Apopka) is on track to be better than any DL we have had since Kevin Carter. He was one of four 1st round picks on their 2022 DL.

 

Anybody who watch that game knows that Mertz did not lose it for us. He’s still a good player and I’ll ride with him. We were just out manned on the lines. Better days ahead if we can recruit offencive and defensive lineman.
