Can you clarify? Why I don't praise everything? Or the fired part? Not being sarcastic, honestly not sure.
So was chatting with a good friend who went to Bama. He told me Saban had the same penalty (two players, same number) his first year as coach there. Maybe a good omen?
I wasn't only talking about last year. Gotta read the post more clearly my guy. You've been around here long enough to know those i was referring to. In fact you, with your 19k + messages was one of the type of posters I was giving respect
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It's where evwrybfan wants to Make it to, it's certainly those who talk about wanting a coach who go 13-0 want to be... a national title winner. Everyone wants to get there but only a few do. In fact in our 100 year history we've only won it 3 times and those came with in a 12 year span.
Quite a few have defined the Gator standard as playing for championships. You obviously believe the promised land is less than a championship. What then, a winning season? Maybe, dare we expect, 10 wins?
Kids are on social media all the time but message boards are a thing from their past, maybe you'll find them hanging out on Reddit or Discord. Even then I doubt very much they are going to decide where to go play based on grumpy fans, it will be 99.9 percent the school/facilities/coaches.
As poorly as the offense played don’t forget a couple big plays that didn’t happen due to Utah penalties that weren’t called. Glaring hold and PI on Pearsall on a deep pass
And on top of that these haters know that the families of our players and recruits read these threads.
3rd & 1 false start 70-yard touchdown allowed 4th & 1 false start Missed 31-yd FG- Utah given the ball back on a punt because two No. 3's were on the field 21-yard punt INT thrown on own 11 3rd & 1 penalty failed 4th down conversions back-to-back drives 5 sacks given up 1-for-13 on 3rd down 2 punts fielded inside the 5 Did I miss anything from Florida's season opener?
My take for the damn near 15-years or so is, how can you presume that the time you need a new HC who "gets it" is 1) available (ie, proven) and 2) he wants THIS job. Napier wanted this job, and not other SEC jobs. We have strapped our horse to him. He has a long-term focus. We have to let things play out, good or bad. It is what it is.
