Ever notice how Kahleil Jackson has two mouth guards on his helmet. One orange, one white. Interesting.

This was a good win.... the Utah & Kentucky games was an absolute disasters, but I'll take 5-2 heading into the cocktail party

Not gonna lie. I thought it was over when we were down by 10. Don’t mind being wrong in that regard. Good game. Nice to see the throws downfield too. Maybe there is something to getting more sleep!

We run shotgun almost every play so that is the right formation. Less than 30 seconds but them with 3 time outs. Two choices. Kneel 3 times and punt with 10 seconds on clock or run out the back and punt after the safety with 4ish seconds with no risk. Later seems no risk and perfect choice. The anti Mario!

    Inside your head.
1.If Mertz comes back in '24 we could have a shot at the SECCG. There is a lot of talent on this team and a truckload coming in next year
    2. Mertz and Pearsall should each get a game ball.

We haven't had a good defense in ten years. Period.

Our defensive coordinator can't turn it around overnight with the players he has, given our poor recruiting before Napier got here.

    That's my "unsophisticated" analysis.

Dude, compared to the torrents of negativity on this board the last few weeks, that was hardly “whining about everything under the sun.”

I even admitted I packed it in too quick tonight and ate some crow. I posted that about 30 seconds after the game thread locked. I DO think we have a lot of good players, and I DO hope the OL play and defense in general elevates to their level of play. That’s not positive or negative, just an observation. How the hell do you know from what I posted that I wasn’t happy about the win?

So find another whipping boy at whom to vent your spleen. Their are scores of posters here who have been far more negative about this team than I ever have been.

The offensive game plan was fun today. The defensive has not looked great for 3 weeks now. We need to tighten that up. Two weeks until GA.

Can we beat UGA? Probably not, but any given Saturday!

    Go Gators!

Missed the first half but watched the 2nd half - wow, what a different Gator team we saw today! It was great watching a Gator QB throw the ball downfield, in the seams, in the flat, and to 8 different targets. It was great seeing WR and TE catching passes in stride and blocking hard all game long too.

Mertz and Pearsall had great games but contributions from the TEs cannot be overlooked...their growth is opening up options for the QB to throw to.

It's also great knowing the Gators have a FG kicker now....Smack has taken that job and ran away with it. It's nice having that deep threat to put 3 on the board from 55 yards away if needed.

Now, let's heal up and prep for the Dawgs in Jacksonville two weeks from today. Let's shock the world!! Go Gators

I think it should be a staple for the board. Seasonal pinned post of all the negative “Gator fans” for all to see. They are never short to say “I told you so” when they are right, might as well do the same the other way

One of my favorite things about this game was that their fans started doing the chomp when they got up by 10. That’s when I thought we might have a chance…
