Etienne needed to stay in bounds and the defense just can't give up an easy 4th and 17 conversion like that. It was ridiculous how little pressure we put on the QB and WRs.

you have to try to score a TD with 1:40 left. you had to throw on 2nd and 3rd down. the expected outcome happened.

Scared Money…. Yes we have the back up in … I heard Urban like a day ago say he likes to throw it deep first play with a backup, it’s a mindset thing … there’s Scared Money and there’s winning, we had nothing to lose tonight letting Max go for the TD, frankly Max looks like he has some dog in him, the fourth and 4 pass for instance, the way he was running the zone read, trusting the defense to hold, facing a kicker with proven 60 yard range wasn’t the call

Silliness. What "best group?" Backups all over the offense including at QB where we had already given them a turnover.

The ILB on that 4th and 17 needed to pedal backwards and break that pass up. Poor position and technique.

No pressure on the QB was partly cause Princely was big time held. Of course no call.

Bright side Max Brown looks like a player

When #76 went out we actually looked better on the LOS

Bad side: the secondary is still the worst in the nation.

Etienne needs to up his on field IQ. Big wiff on a block that got the QB killed and running out of bounds.

That, and our defensive guys spend more time looking at the sideline for a call while the other team snaps the ball. Drives me nuts we can’t just have a base call in place when the other team goes fast.

Welp. I said 2 things in the game thread: I hope our QB makes it through the game, and I hope this doesn't come down to a FG kicking contest. Sorry guys.

Mizzou had 3 TOs and used 2 on our runs. If we pass (with our backup) there's a potential they keep those TOs.

I would have ran Max on the FG drive at least on 2nd or 3rd down. Mizzou couldn't adjust to it.

I think the 4th and 17 was a busted OFFENSIVE call.
They had two WR in the same spot and one was covered.

I'm not sure that wasn't a very lucky play.

If I’m coach, I must know our defense was not going to stop anyone from waltzing down the field. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have kicked the FG and it’s unrealistic to look back and say we should have done this or that to keep the clock running.

Came to say the I will not complain about anything in the face of how hard these Gators fought. Can't remember the last time I rooted so hard. This was a broken team that fought as hard as they could. Go Gators!

Laying blame in the face of such a courageous effort is childish.
