Going 0 - 4 against Ky and Vandy would be catastrophic for Napier. I do think UF wins next Saturday because it's in the Swamp. The road trip to S Carolina will be key to a 6 win season. So far UF looks inept on the road, let's see if UF can stop the bleeding when traveling.
Not banging the fire Napier drum at all. Banging the BullGators, boosters, and donors please move some gears so that Stricklin can tell Napier make the necessary changes even if it means deviating from the “process” because your seat is warming up quick drum. I want to give Napier 4 years. He can’t look incompetent for 4 years. By the way, Malzahn coaches a P5 program. If Billy doesn’t wake up he stands a good chance of losing to Malzahn next year.
CALM DOWN! FYI...CBN could lose the remaining games and he is with us through 2025. Brain trust has already said this.
That is why I think we need new OL coach with enough of a track record to swing recruiting. We seem to be lacking development and recruiting now. Acknowledge that they are intertwined
Two four stars on the entire roster and one was very close to being a three. That’s not going to get it done. The best blocking team almost always wins. Things won’t change until we start getting commitments from top linemen. Scheme isn’t shit. Block huge holes like Kentucky did yesterday and you win almost every game.
Boosters control it all at every school. Their millions pay for everything and when they quit writing checks, there’s no other choice to be made.
Yep. If the boosters feel they need to interfere there, blow it up and start over. Go Huskers, er er Go Vols, I mean Gators!
If next year looks like this year, it’s over. Losing to Kentucky from where we are now isn’t that big of a deal. Losing like we did is. Total lack of intensity, can,t get the right number of players on the field game after game, just sloppy and push around. It looks terrible. The coaches and team have to respond and never come out flat like that again. No one should be surprised tgat Kentucky was hyped as hell for tgat game. We weren’t.
Recruiting doesn’t always match stars , especially with oline. I’m not sure the ranking of Kentucky’s guys but they can damn sure block. The top few school’s consistently take the top 20 linemen every year and most of the has at least decent lines. We have one kid over .9 and he is a true freshman and isn’t playing. It shows. Don’t blame the coaches that have had a year and a half to build a line out of leftovers.
I’m not sure who you or I blame. We know what we are watching though and there’s plenty of blame to go around, ever gets a full share. My view is tgat if we don’t buy a premier line, we can’t win against premier lines. All things need to be near equal for coaches to be successful
