Both drops that he had were difficult catches and the second one he got his ass smashed.

Nice post. With all our deficiencies we were still in the game

It’s not a luck stat. We put an emphasis on it and practice it every week according to our players.

So why'd we hire him as this is always going to be the case? Ok, what in terms of on-field performance, this year, has made you think this there is something to hang our hat on from this year moving forward.

Also Sonny Dykes and Marcus Freeman have entered the conversation.

Only thing I heard that sounded bad was mother in law.

On the bright side, you get to get a new TV with potentially better features and a better picture.

He brought in Jack Miller who if he didn’t get hurt, may have relieved a struggling AR at times this year.

The topic was why Napier lost at Portal Kombat last year. I’m just giving the reasons. He was just setting up shop while others were already established in P5 programs. I’m not sure what TCU did in the portal to comment.

I like what I’m seeing from Napier. Yes the results on the field isn’t there yet, but I feel they will be starting with next year with the roster makeover. If not, then I’ll jump on the we need a change train, but I feel he’s a bit handcuffed right now.

Billy & his army need to go portal shopping for some quality plug-n-play starters on defense, imho. It’s the great equalizer now, for a quicker rebuild. Can’t just depend on recruiting and developing HS players. Portal players are more proven and don’t require a 4yr commitment.

Yep. If he recruits well 8 win seasons wont be too hard, add in some luck and it could be double digits. But with the amount this crew got outcoached this season if they dont change drastically then we will never win the big ones.

People wonder why Richt could never make it work at Georgia. Hate to say it but im smelling a lot of the same coming from Napier.

    Hope im wrong.

I get it. For the record I am not advocating a coaching change (Head coach that is). That is insane. Those names I threw out were ones who had/have recruited showed massive improvement in season or hit portal significantly better than us.

He has to win in the Portal wars for some key talent that pans out (think J. Greenard + some LB talent). This D has as many holes as Swiss cheese. Banking on getting HS talent to fill them adequately as true Freshmen is a recipe for another frustrating 2023 season.

He was behind in the portal last year as I think he was working through the NIL structuring for the entire team while others were just throwing money around. I think he’ll be ready this year. We will find out in 10 days.

I heard the impact of the hit from where I was sitting in real time and that dude busted his ass. It was a good throw and it was catchable but not a gimme

I’m not sure who could’ve made a juggernaut out of that offensive roster
