I can't argue with that take on it, but will say he did change two plays in time out from go for it to kick. I do like the guy and think he took on a real project from Mullen, but still.

this is what's most concerning to me when trying to have faith we're on the right path. We haven't seen consistent growth and improvement in any phase of the game under Napier over two full seasons. We're consistently inconsistent, except for our penchant for shooting ourselves in the foot over and over again.

I'm still not completely giving up on the guy yet, but this season has done some serious damage to the Napier bandwagon.

I always tell people that, when I was in the Gator Band, we partied hard after wins and we partied harder after losses. '79 almost killed me.

 

Smack's misses were on very long kick attempts..although he missed terribly on that 52 yarder

 

I think we had a whopping FIVE all season.

 

Firing would be dumb. Plus I can’t tell others what to do with their money. I think improvement needs to be seen next year to get to 2025.

But I’m watching to see what Lanning continues to do at Oregon. That’s just me.

just painful. but pain is better than apathy. this team had a way to lose games, but they at least stayed in them. i will give them that. If Billy gets an OC and changes OL coaches, I still will have faith.
