Coach Napier could keep his two offensive line coaches and maybe we could see something more resembling a modern college offense. Everyone is a winner and no one is let go. I could list 91 teams that are averaging more points per game, do we have the 92nd best talent level? Washington is averaging 467 yards passing per game without a single 5* on their roster. The was only the punt with 10 guys and CBN addressed that and debunked the reporter who said they were short a man on a field goal. He said they were ok with 10 guys on the punt because of the circumstances and the play ended well for us. But.it want mentioned in game and I didn't see it.

 

That's BS and you know it. Defense looked good. We moved the ball well all night until we got into the red zone. Mertz looked good, as usual. Pearsall made the best catch I've ever seen in person. Not saying I'm happy with the overall performance against that team, but, c'mon man. Between the half game suspensions and injuries, we were missing at least five starters on offense.

 

I go back to the 2 fumbles. The one by Douglas specifically was a 1st down till the ball came out. Momentum killers for sure

Washington has a Heisman Candidate from last year as a QB what are you talking about Penix Jr. Is one of the best QB's in the nation. Being rated 5* and being a 5* talent are not the same. I think it goes without saying that if you're a Heisman candidate at QB you're a 5 star talent, just like those who were rated 5 stars amd can't beat put 3 stars like cormani are not 5 star talents unless you believe the recruiting services are an exact science and there are only about 20-25 five stars talents each year in the entire country out of thousands of players.
