Nope. We are regressing. Not a good sign.

 

At a certain point in time, we need to seriously ask if we hired a recruiting director instead of an SEC head coach. Great guy, great eye for talent… but he yet to show on any sort of consistent basis that he is equipped to run a successful - or even decent - team in this league. The ST blunders. Going away from your playmakers for entire quarters. Clock management issues. The totality of the circumstances tell us the truth…

 

We are just an average SEC team now. Some weeks we'll get lucky and beat a bad USC team; other weeks we lose to a bad Arky team. Do we grow from this? Does recruiting save us?

I have no idea, but we are far far far from competing at a high-level again.

And this team won’t win another game. Not one. Mizzou, LSU and FSU will boat race them and it won’t be close. The team will start worrying about themselves, transfers and the recruiting class will fall apart.

 

Billy told the sideline chick coming out of the half that they had figured out the Arky defense and were going to be aggressive. Two 3 and outs later we were vintage Billy ball. We haven’t stayed aggressive all game in any game this season

 

We are looking in the face of a 5 straight loss end of the year. How’s that for a second year progress. At some point his PC of we have to coach better has to translate to wins. 3 straight years of a losing season for anyone to believe we’re beating lsu and mizz away is nuts.

 

Gentleman, I do not see us getting another win. Where do you see 1 more win on our schedule?? No bowl this year most likely. Tough season.

Injuries and a lack of depth are catching up to the defense. Replacing veterans with freshman isn’t going to end well.

But the overall coaching has to show some improvement. We are making similar mistakes over and over each game. No sense of urgency on offense to expand on a lead when given a chance.

With that brutal 2024 schedule, when is our next winning season?

 

Failure by Armstrong in OT. KJ just did it all with his legs in regulation, he's going to do it again and you let him get 20 on 1st and 20. I guess we are going to let Armstrong grow into his role, but if I'm Napier, an OC isn't the only hire I'm making this offseason.

 

With this staff, I really don’t think it would matter if we had better players or more experienced players… I think we can all see what the problem is and I’m not gonna say it because I’ve already been banned once for saying it after the Kentucky game.

 

I’m bummed. Our 2 primary special teams players cost us the game. Punter for fumbling a snap on an XP and the kicker for not doing his job.

ST plays are going to cost more games in the future unless we do something drastic ASAP.

 

Need a major staff upgrade IMO. That chart showing the experience of UGA staff vs UF was telling.
