I think it is more a lack of experience/growth than a lack of talent. They are talented enough to get into position, but lack the size/strength/experience to do anything when they are in position. We are very young, especially at LB/DB, and they aren’t physically ready to handle SEC play.

 

What two point try? There was none. We botched a snap/ hold on an xp that the holder tried to run with so the box score shows a missed 2 point try.

Not for some of us, it's been painfully obvious.

 

Yes but this isn't the NFL yet. Going 10-2 every year but losing to UGA and FSU every year will get you fired after a while. Currently we're going 5-7 and 6-7 and have lost to all our rivals. Plus, beating everyone except UGA and FSU doesn't help when both make the playoffs.

 

Wait till next year use to work...but that schedule next year would scare a Kirby team.

You’re right. His success there has not translated. UF is not an easy place to coach. I knew last season Napier wasn’t the guy. The underwhelming job he did working with Anthony Richardson said it all. A QB with Richardson’s skill set should have been in the running for all-SEC with an offensive minded coach. He was literally the best athlete on the field for every single game.

 

things have changed drastically since he played.

 

I don’t think UF can compete in the NIL space with the likes of UGA and Bama. Now throw in OU and Texas. Lol. UF’s priorities have been elsewhere for awhile.

 

When it's all said and done it very well might be.
