I missed the 2-point try. Just saw it happened in the 3rd quarter up 3. That is absolutely boneheaded, for sure. What is the rationale?? Much more blatant than a questionable 3rd down call. I mean, two-point conversions are an you either do or you don’t and in that situation, you kick the easy PAT every. single. time. Why Billy, why??

 

i know what position group/coach you’re referring to and let’s just say he and his group flying under the radar from a constructive criticism standpoint

 

Then that means we won’t have a better team next year. Haven’t our fans learned their lesson with this?

All offseason we had to hear how the team would be better even though it won’t reflect it in the win column. It’s nonsense! You either win or you lose! That’s sports.

That’s why I don’t think it should be Billy on the hot seat yet. But Strickland is another story. He’s been a disaster all the way around.

 

Special Teams not special at all. Big time contributors to 3 of our losses. And the D is Swiss Cheese. We won’t win till we fix the Oline and Dline. Oline struggled all game. Need an OC big time and I think Napes believes it as well. Too much going on in this level of football to be OC and HC.

 

Very reliable WR had ball ripped out of his hands for aTD. Not a one play loss. Too many mistakes for a young team to overcome.

But doesn’t that circle back to coaching? Do our coaches try to fire up the team? Does our coach work the officials over bad calls?

Some of this can be put on the players not making plays when put in position, at least on defense. But the offense at times is put into a bad position with the play calls. Maybe it will improve with recruiting better players, but we don’t seem to be getting the beat out of what we do have.

 

Still don’t get why #7 is not the first RB on the chart/field and a focal point of the offense. The guy is special and a playmaker. At this point of the season, it’s a complete mismanagement, imho.

 

I think the D went 11 drives in a row without surrendering a touchdown. Any D is going to buckle having to stop that many drives. Our offense simply doesn’t work and it puts a lot of stress on the defense.

 

If we stop wearing them for superstition after this it was worth it 100%
