It’s the defense. The offense I really have no issues with.
I do think BN comes back. Let’s see what this top 3 class can do. Lagway looks like a could be the real deal.
I think we win 1 of the last 3 to get the 6th win and make a bowl, but even at 5-7, make some staff changes but bring BN back.

Do you think we are holding back plays in the playbook for FSU?

An FSU loss will help ease the pain we are experiencing today.

Surely we aren’t trying to point to any one player (especially Etienne) for the loss to a team that had lost 6 in a row.

Did we just get beat at home by a team who has a coach who needs an underwire bra?

The explanation Billy gave in the post-game pc about the substitution penalty on the spike play was bizarre. He said it was all because one player thought he heard the signal for the fg team to run on, it’s his (player) responsibility to do that, everyone follows him. Billy is also very touchy when asked about the continued ST issues in general.

playing tough competition might be the best we could ask for. This was the first loss against a sub par team and clearly the team was not prepared to play.

Billy's last job was in Div 1 (Louisiana Lafayette) and his last three years there were 11-3, 10-1, and 12-1. That wasn't bad...

Agreed, he should be teaching and talking to the players on the sidelines instead of giving his best Tom Landry, stoic look, from the sidelines as if he has nothing to teach during the game.

We couldn't cover Ark receivers so why to you think can cover FSU receivers

Totally agree. Anytime your offense can score 33 on the opponent, your defense should be able to hold them to less than that. And that’s especially true at home. No excuse for losing this game.

Cannot compare Napier to Smart. He had UGA in the National title game his second year and was a Tua pass away from winning it all.

Billy post game “we gotta coach better, play better, it’s the same old …”
Stopped himself… but even he knows it’s a broken record at this point.

ya know what the worst thing in the NFL IS? An 8-8/9-7 team. Not enough to fire the guy or get a good draft pick, not good enough to make the SB. I feel that way here. Billy can point to 2-3 plays or 3-4 players and how CLOSE we are and it’s never about scheme or flow of the game - always “we gotta focus on situational football”. He may be here for the full 5 and go 6-6/7-5 each year being JUST that close
