I have been a supporter of BN and figured he was doing a good job of turning the program around, now I am not so sure after a painful loss like this and the fallout which will happen on the recruiting trail! Billy has made his job that much harder with this horrible loss as we will not likely play in a bowl and inevitably the recruiting class will fall apart resulting in a mediocre team playing a brutal schedule next season, I don't think the fanbase will tolerate what is ahead! I wish I could be more positive but this is reality, one of our worst losses in recent history for so many reasons!

 

Yep... losing to their coach, bad-luck-schlep-rock, has an added sting to it.

 

Fire Napier. Destroy the top 3 class coming in without a doubt.

Hire new coach. Win 5 games next 2 years due to lack of talent, especially interior talent. Fire that coach again

Rinse. Repeat.

I don’t know coaching wise but I keep reading and reading how it’s the best culture in the whole universe. So I guess it’s like winning time of possession or something.

 

For all the talk about Billy and his staff's evaluations, our portal transfer contributions from this year's class outside of Mertz and sometimes Cam Jackson has been atrocious. And we had so many holes to fill and playing time to offer.

 

I’m guessing that everyone is inside staring at Excel sheets or something. Because analytics.

Billy is going from "can he recruit in the big leagues" to "can he hold a team together."

Remaining games are a gauntlet where there will be few chances for celebration.

 

We had our bowl game last week when we played ol' bowl cut. It went about as well as last year's bowl game.

 

It took Smart 6 years to win. NC at Georgia. While UGA performed better in Smart’s first two years and exceptionally thereafter, I think we HAVE to give Napier time. Eventually he will have to make adjustments to staff and delegate responsibilities.
Iif he can continue to recruit and gets the right staff in place we will challenge for the SEC in two years.
WE HAVE TO BE PATIENT!

 

i agree with coaching had its hands in the L today but there was plenty of times where they just wanted it more. Played with more life than us.

 

We are years away fellas from maybe competing. I was really looking forward to the Texas game next year as I live in Texas and wanted to attend with my Longhorn friends but idk , it might be embarrassing

I’ve been so concerned with holding our class together for next year but now I just don’t care. I’ve been a CBN apologist for a while now. No more. He’s terrible. Can’t bet seem to get these guys motivated.
