If Biden loses in November, when will a Democrat win the White House again?

  1. 2028?

  2. 2032?

  3. At least a generation?

  4. Never, it will be in GOP hands indefinitely

The Democrats will need to find some talent in the next 4 years. There is not much in the party under 60 that is well known and not a lune. Harris is not well liked, and Newsom has covid baggage and winning a national race as president from California with all its problems is a huge issue for a presidential campaign.

Im sure the Republicans will screw it up as they normally do, but the Dems are losing to a party that couldnt elect a speaker... They need to find a group of popular Gen X/Millennials that will carry the party in the future, right now they have no one except the crazy squad... Not exactly promising for the donors of the party.

Trump's SCOTUS will rule based on nothing that the presidential term limit meant 2 consecutive terms so he can have 3. He's going nowhere anytime soon if he gets back in.

No they won’t. He’ll be 82 in 2024. If he tries to stay in office a mob would forcibly remove him. Not gonna happen.

I wouldn't put it beyond Trump to attempt the stunt although obviously it will never happen. Keep in mind that in January 2020 Trump seriously considered invoking the Insurrection Act to prevent the transition to a Biden Administration.

I assume you're being facetious. The 22nd Amendment is very specific regarding term limits. Even using a convoluted rationale like they did in their presidential immunity decision there is no way that the SCOTUS could get around the term limit language.
If there was any way that a former president could be elected to a non-consecutive third term, the Democrats would have substituted Obama for Biden by now. In fact, Obama probably would have been the nominee in 2020.

The question is whether state legislatures (controlled by either party) find ways to ensure that electoral college produces a desired result. It is very possible that the will of the people is subverted by state by state limitations. Perhaps this was what the founders desired in protections of a vibrant democracy and the minority having a voice, if not the rule.
