If I'm understanding the plot correctly:

1. A few white people go to lame support group, talk about their feelings
2. ???????
3. Communist domination

 

Tilly is falling for the trap of embracing the story of emotionally disturbed individuals who've been forced to create a false reality who have a strong dislike for anyone trying to shine light on these damaging "white guilt" confession sessions. He's usually a reasonable person but is on the wrong side of this particular discussion.

 

That's exactly what a guilty person would say, to hide their guilt. Luckily there's a support group that can help you with that.

Our (my former) party is becoming the bully. Compassionate conservatism could still be a thing. But it isnt middle school funny enough I guess.

Walsh is changing nothing. Walsh is making money off the choir.

White guilt believers aren't flooding to his pages looking for advice.

You and I both know 99.9% of his clicks are people that already agree with him and just find him entertaining.

How do you know that your "world view" is accurate? Have you not been influence by the very factors you delineate below .... and thus do not have as clear and objective an understanding of the situation? You can attribute that phenomenon to others but are seemingly unable to acknowledge you may suffer the very same lack of knowledge and bias?

WRT to what "Jesus would never do" .... would God oppress others by coercion and oppression, convincing them (especially the emotionally disturbed) that they suffer from some fabricated malady? Would God support such actions by anyone?

Any misstep by Walsh pales in comparison to the errors of those abusing others with "white guilt" and the related false reality .... and anyone who would support these dangerous programs.

As I said earlier, everyone involved in this are white people feeling self-important, it is a real problem. Nothing to do with white guilt, just a bunch on individuals who think they can change society through performative drama. "I'm making a movie 1000 people will see ... its going to shine a light on what's going on and everything will change" "If I just check my privilege, we can end racism."

Trust me. I know my worldview has been flawed. It was flawed in 2016 when I voted for an old man that walked in on naked teenagers and called his daughter a piece of ass and bragged about grabbing women by the p***y and cheated on multiple wives.

So I can clearly adjust my worldview.

Mocking someone who is hurting...even if their hurt is created by a faux outrage so crazy it should barely see the light of day...is still hurtful. It is literally what bullies do.

Correct. What I am referring to is that everything the left clings to in the name of freedom must be blindly accepted by the right or the bully terms come flying.

Examples:
Abortion: You hate woman if you want limits put on the termination of an unborn child

LGBTQ: you are a bigot that hates anyone if you disagree with their choice.

Race: You are racist if you speak out against parts of the BLM platform or are against defunding police.

Religion: You are a theocratic fascist if uou vote in line with your deeply held religious faith.

I know this is more aimed at the far left and not centrists, but it is evolving and it does garner a response. Guys like Walsh are overreacting...badly, but they are reacting to a true issue in the eyes of millions of people.

You are the one who used the word "hate" to describe your beliefs about something. But yes, the ability to receive an abortion (or IVF or any of any number of other medical procedures), the ability to engage in same-sex relationships and marry, the ability to not be targeted by the state due to your race, and the ability to have differing religious beliefs are all versions of freedom. Freedom is about the government not deciding that you can't do something because somebody else disagrees with your choice. Utilizing government to restrict each of those is fighting against freedom.
