Play-Off Game Thread: #11 SMU vs #6 PSU TNT Network

We must be watching the same 2 games.

 

Not sure about those two.

I'd probably put PSU with or ahead of them.

ND looks good too. They could bust the SEC/B10 combo. We'll find out soon enough. If GA has QB issues, they could be in trouble in this game.

At this point, Im beginning to think Florida would probably beat SMU. Maybe even by a couple scores.

 

Gators would smoke the team playing today.

 

Penn state offense does so many weird things

 

So far this 12 team playoff has been a total dud.

 

This FCS game is pretty good though

 

ASU and Boise given byes as well this whole thing is setup to help the weaker conferences. I'm confident Vandy would be a better match up for Penn State

 

ACC is a joke conference in football. The fact they got two teams in the 12 team play-off is a bigger joke (along with the Notre Dame side joke) and shows the conference money grab they set up for the "top 12 team" play-off, IMO.

Could have had an SEC play-off and a Big (Whatever) play-off and the 2 champions meet . . . and nobody would have argued, "But if Clemson had been invited," or "but if SMU had been playing," etc. Boise State with a bye? Arizona State with a bye? LOL!

Penn St best win was vs Illinois and they get an ACC team that should never have been in and then Boise St, the bracket is a joke. Not quite the joke that will be the ACC losing their 2 playoff games by at leat half a hundred combined.

 

Not sure what I enjoy more. Last year’s Noles whining about not getting in or this year’s Bama fans.
