As I see it, the winner of the UTx-OSU game should cruise to the NC. Leonard is the better QB, but not that good as an offense. Penn State's Allar is NOT a NC QB. You have to bring something to the game. He is lacking.

I just don’t see how this is the offense that someone thinks is going to win a national championship in 2025.

As much as I hate ND it is nice to see that Brian Kelly was holding them back. Hopefully he's watching the game down in Louisiana.

 

Hard to believe that it was Kelly holding them back. At least they had a modern day offense. I believe that Kelly took them to the champ final and lost. Not a Kelly fan at all but let’s give him credit for getting ND there at least and LOSING.

I don't think they rely on him to win with the pass, that's the point. He only threw for 90 on UGA but ran for 80.

 

My hope was Georgia got beat and ND didn't make it to the final game.

No kidding, my whole point was that this guy threw the ball well at Duke and they rarely let him throw it at ND. When they throw the ball they move the ball well. Look at the end of the half and that was the backup.

 

Hell of a TD run there. Wow!

 

It seems like they were calling it conservative because they were worried about PSU's defense early. And the PSU D did look really good for most of the first half. ND's offense looked rattled there for a while. But they've opened it up and are looking much more balanced and confident in his throwing. 10/16 for 136 now.

After watching the playoff so far, if the Gators get in next year look out.

We all know what playing not to lose does for a team. Both teams need to open it up now and try to win. Against a good offensive team, they both will be too far behind by the time they open it up.
