They would make more money and build a better brand with a different system.....this system only helps the weaker conferences and teams to get a shot at participating and eventually over time diminishing the dominance of the two main conferences. The SEC was doing quite well prior to this new playoff system they didn't need it to be relevant.

 

Did you guys see that QB Ewers has a $6M NIL valuation should he decide to return to college football? This is not what I had in mind for NIL. I figured, sure, let the kids sign autographs or do commercials for Yellawood or Goldenflake, but not this craziness. Something has to be done to correct this abomination.

 

Maybe Dr. Pepper pays well? He is a doctor.

 

The lessor conference teams will never get ahead with the current NIL system.

Not to be too critical but... the Sun Devils OC makes Napier look freaking brilliant as an OC. Just saying. They ever hear of a pitch, misdirection or a pass?

That's surely the plan. 2 conference NFL d-league. They needed to solve a problem that didn't exist since bowl games used to be mostly competitive, so they created 'playoffs' with exclusively non competitive games in order to swoop in and solve it in the near future.

It's pretty obvious NFL d-league without risk by grifting college football fans is the plan and has been obvious since the start.
