I don't know what would make it better, tbh. It will always be subjectively enforced, just like everything else. I don't think a guy getting bodied like that should ever be a penalty. If you come in head up and wrap the guy up, that is a textbook tackle. If you try to go low, you're almost certainly going to lower your head, which is what they're supposedly trying to get rid of. It's hard to argue that was not forceable contact to the head/neck on a defenseless player though, so I don't know how you just refuse to call it what the rule says it is.

Great game - ASU down too many of their good players. Despite the fact that he is coach of Texas, I like Sark.

I wrote ASU off after about 8 minutes, good on them to make a game of this and keep me entertained on a lazy afternoon, Texas really didn't look that great but will have the crowd behind them in the Semi Final!

 

Hats off to ASU....crappy way to lose a game but they gave Texas a fight and a half!

I would take their coach in a New York minute. Tough, brilliant, young and doesn't micromanage the offense like a certain person I know.
