    I assume to take Ross’s place… 2 yrs in a row lost a very good transfer portal pitcher ..

    Recruiting is about like hitting. You’re gonna make more outs than hits.

    I don’t know who the strike falls on though. Really just circumstances.

    Ross is apparently going to sign for a pretty unimpressive bonus, and the UCLA kid last year signed even though he went undrafted. Leads me to believe both guys were looking to go pro from the start and basically treated UF as a back-up option.
