From his perspective, my guess is Golden is too green for a player like Pipen to go transfer to. I would guess he’d want more of a sure thing.
Interesting about Pippen, I assumed he was on board with coach Stackhouse. Guess not, like others, surprised he doesn't just declare. I Sorta side with BEH, but not to that extent, I did notice Pippen did not handle the pressure well in a couple of his last important games - especially SEC tourney against KY, had he shown up they may have won. His shooting was terrible. Don't know if I would call him a virus though, that seems harsh.
He probably likes stack - but that team is going to need a huge overall to make the tourney next year. I’m sure he wants to play on a competitive team.
So there isn't a 5' 14" and under league he can dominate? Go and get paid and let dad keep you afloat until you find your niche.
Kentucky wise that was our women’s team. However we are very young into the portal with our players. It seems like everyone will get their day or days in the Sun and tell us where they are going… depressing!!
I'm not a big fan of his dad, that's for sure. I also wonder if Jr was cutting it in school, walking away from a degree from Vandy may not be a brilliant move, the kid can probably play overseas somewhere but the NBA seems far from a lock, IMO.
Pippin may want to play closer to home. Miami where Mom and family live? Not sure where Scotty lives now.
