Notice in the message he says Trump could be “useful.” I think that’s exactly what Trump turned out to be for Vance (and the rest of the GOP).

 

Quayle actually served two terms in the House and was in his second term in the Senate when George H.W. Bush selected Quayle as his running mate. Vance has served less than two years in the Senate and had zero political experience prior to his election in 2022.

 

He climbed the suck-up ladder better than anyone else, that's for sure.

 

Putin and maybe Xi probably feel the same about Trump.

 

Vance isn't the only one to say harsh things about Trump in the past. The fact remains

I don’t even know what a VP does, but he has more government exp than Trump did in 2016.

 

Trump was far and away the least qualified person to ever hold the office of the presidency and he could very well end up being elected to a second term.

Trump was elected thanks to NBC and Mark Burnett who created the Donald Trump character for the Apprentice. The television character was a business genius while the real Donald Trump managed six companies into bankruptcy and had to be bailed out by his father multiple times. He also had a history of running various scams like a phony university and not to mention screwing his employees, contractors and creditors.
