Interesting memes re JD Vance. Some of the tweets near the bottom of the article had me in tears.

Why is JD Vance being mocked with couch memes?

 

Tough start to the campaign trail for JP Mandel. Such a shame.

 

Couldnt happen to a nicer group of MAGAts. They picked a radical knucklehead who bashed the hell out of Trump's character and has less charisma than Jeb Bush.

Enten explained the numbers on Erin Burnett OutFront, which cited The Associated Press as the source.

"It's in negative net territory, negative—look at that—negative," he said. "I have gone all the way back since 1980. He is the first guy, immediately following a convention—a VP pick—who actually has a net-negative favorable rating. The average since 2000 is +19 points. J.D. Vance [is] making history in the completely wrong way."

While funny, it is scary what AI can do now days. It won't be long before we won't be able to believe what we see online at all.

 

Trump picking a mini-trump for VP isn't really a great move, it just solidifies the low info MAGA vote but doesn't draw in undecideds or expand the base at all. Maybe Vance was a good choice when Biden was the opposition.

Yea, If I was a pub Id never vote for Nikki. I mean, what was her strategy? Call Trump a danger to America then support him? I mean WTF? She needed to decide useful idiot or never Trumper.. not both. LOL on "Kristi shot her puppy".

People, especially women and even those on the right, HATE this guy, especially after all his comments about women who don’t or can’t have children. Trump is screwed either way - if he fires him it questions his decision making that he picked him in the first place, and if he keeps him, enough people despise him that it’s going to cost him votes. There is no chance Trump wins this election as it sits right now. Buckle up, Republicans, it’s going to be another long winter for your party. Just don’t go berserk when your candidate loses again.

 

Yes, that is quite scary. But what’s scarier is that there are people who know these are fake and they keep posting them. That is sick!

I hope you are right, I keep reading the “unnamed sources” type reports that campaign insiders are losing their minds over this pick…. Calling it an “arrogance pick” made at a time when it looked like Trump was steamrolling towards a win, and wanted a show of MAGA power to the base… but Vance appeals to no one other than the base and isn’t a strategic pick from an EC standpoint or an underrepresented demographic …. Trump arrogance strikes again…

 

Momentum is all on the left right now and the right doesn’t look like they’re going to regain it. Trump wimping out of the debate with Kamala looks cowardly and weak as well.
