I think it will be Doug Burgum. Burgum has executive experience as governor of North Dakota. Keeping in mind that Trump is very ego driven, of the top three he's the most bland and as such is the least likely to draw attention away from the former president. Also for that reason Vance's charisma could actually be a negative. Burgum's also rather wealthy and brings in the bonus of being able to contribute several million dollars to the campaign.

You would think that Trump would choose someone who hasn't publicly insulted him in the past as "unfit for office," etc. But the pickings are pretty slim in that respect. The best thing would be just for Trump's pick to say that back when he insulted Trump he was just intoxicated or being sarcastic.

Burgrum would be the only qualified pick so I doubt he chooses him as Burgrum likely doesn't suffer fools like djt too much and wouldn't pledge blind loyalty. The others are bootlickers with Vance being the worst of them so the one that djt will most likely choose. Vance is nextgen MAGA

While I agree with all of the above I still do not think Trump will select anyone with whom he has to share the limelight. For that reason alone I still think that he's going with Burgum rather than a JD Vance.

I was going to say that while I’m not sure Burgum adds anything meaningful at all to the ticket as “generic white guy with no name recognition from electorally meaningless state,” he does look vaguely like George Washington and Trump seems like the kind of guy to be very impressed by that.

 

Burgum's supposed to have a history of working with both sides of the aisle.

Having someone like that to assist the POTUS would be YUGE!

Burgum makes the most rational sense in a competent governance aspect which eliminates him as trump’s choice and Vance looks like he had some work done on his face and has begun wearing makeup and we all know appearance is critical to trump. I think its Vance.
