And the poor dude who caught a stray in front of his family. I hope to God that wasn't staged and he was just some unlucky sap

I've seen some people try to make a distinction between it being the actual bullet, ricochet or shrapnel the bullet caused. No distinction in my eyes. If it was one of those, it's serious.

Agreed. It was a serious attack and should be taken seriously.

Also, it amuses me to quote the FBI report that says bullet or shrapnel, when people try to claim the FBI said it was only a bullet. They are so funny when they try to dance their way around the actual FBI statements.

Regardless of what it was, it gave him time to get down and rub the red dye soaked rag across his face.

Trump could literally have a fireman shot at one of his rallies, and not lose a single vote.

Trump's body count just keeps going up.

Working theory: He was just shooting into the crowd so Trump could look tough, wipe his ear with fake blood and get his tiny fist tough guy photo made.

Ears and faces heal really fast, it all depends on how big the injury was and who fixed it. Not out of the realm of possibility it could be not noticeable after 14 weeks from that camera distance.
Not a “plastic surgeon” but fixed hundreds if not over a thousand facial and ear lacerations in my day

Could the "wound" coagulate instantly to the point where nothing gets on his white dress shirt?

Wax bro. Dude took Don's own ear wax, and molded a prosthetic ear, then applied the same orange make up...

Haven’t looked at any pre-assassination attempt photos of Trump’s right ear for comparison versus the the pics associated with the premise of this thread, but it looks to me like a small portion of the top rear edge of his ear is missing now. With a good regimen for healing and good make-up, seems to me that his ear could look exactly like it does if a bullet grazed it. My remaining question is whether the body’s healing ability can work that quick for a near octogenarian. I know that my elderly dad didn’t heal lacerations quickly and even I don’t seem to heal abrasions or lacerations as quick as when I used to get torn up in football games in HS. In summary, the current pics seem to me to support his ear having been grazed.

Could ketchup be slopped on his ear and face so quickly and effectively that none got on his white shirt?
    I mean that’s what you’re asserting right?

Look at the many pictures blood all over the ear, his face his hand the towel they tried to cover it with. His head was turned away from his shirt and he had a jacket on so it’s not impossible.
I guess the shot of the bullet whizzing by was faked too.

Most facial lacerations heal in 5-7 days, it’s been like 18. Not that impressive.

Why don't you take a razor blade and nick your ear then come back and tell us if you bled or not.
