There's not much we can conclude from this other than the gigantic bandage being complete unnecessary.

It's unequivocal that he was shot at - there was no need to embellish.

The FBI confirmed he was hit by a bullet, and nothing fragmented the bullet prior to hitting Trump.

I am a bit disgusted by this topic. Who cares about the extent of his injury? We should all be happy he was not gravely injured. The moral high ground for the left is to have compassion for the office and what it means to be a former President.

The shock and disdain at an attempted assassination attempt has been consistent from both sides. Trump though, never takes the high ground. My concern for his health following the shooting was real. If he was never hit and it was someone else's blood and he is using a bandage as a prop and claiming he was hit to score points, when people died during the shooting, it disgusts me. It is his lack of empathy for anyone else that comes through again and again.

 

He is not my brand of politics. I do not know what is in his heart, so I give him the benefit of the doubt and go with his actions and words he speaks. Both have been unappealing to me.

The topic of this thread appears to be about discounting the impact mocking his ear and the bandage. Perhaps there is a plastic surgeon on THFSG that can provide some thoughts. Last time I checked, no one has tried to shoot me, so Trump has a POV that puts him in the minority of Americans. He might really be a bridge candidate for gun controls and stricter policies. We shall see.

I doubt we will ever really know the truth as he is not allowing his medical exam be released publicly. I am all for greater regulation of gun use in general, not sure Trump has the skill to thread that needle.
