I never realized the UF Pell logo was on the uniform in the 80s? Does any one have more pictures of Pell logo on the uniform or know the tests z. I love the Pell logo, my favorite UF logo.
Did not realize that was Chris. I did just find pictures of Terry Dean with the same logo on his pants. Also just found pictures with Emmit Smith. Just too young to realize it was used on the uniforms.
Just did a quick image search. The Pell logo was on the pants up to '94. I believe it was on the uniform as a secondary logo for a few years. It might have even been used as a secondary for a while after the Gator head logo was introduced. But always as a secondary logo.

I remember being in 8th grade and 9th grade wearing a T-shirt that said "Give them Hell Pell!". My brother was a freshman at Florida during that time.
It’s crazy that Spurrier was able to recruit so well, the players stayed so motivated throughout the season, and our veterans were so ignored without black uniforms to look forward to.
Or without a baton to give to a player for doing his job? Seriously, how did they even play football like that?
