Thanks! That was a good read. I wonder about the almost throwaway line about being able to wiggle his toes. Does anyone know it that is an encouraging sign?
It seems “yes” it is. But, the mom’s quote about Pat saying “Why can’t I be the 1%” that walks again, is rather sobering.
Article by Chris Harry. Really good, but sad article. Patrick is an inspiration. 'I will be the one who defines this chapter of my life' - Florida Gators
My wife met him recently. She showed him the above pic and he laughed and asked for a copy. She can't say enough good things about him. He does not play a role for the cameras. As genuine in person as he is on social media.
Recently? If in the past few years you may have met our last dog who was one of the therapy dogs there.
Two gorgeous dogs Antny1! I have a bitch mutt (Garbo) and A Keshond male (Duke). I love and enjoy mine immensely, my own therapy dogs! Man itz so heartbreaking for Patrick to have this ordeal. I really hope that he may regain enough mobility to walk unassisted. Was, is and always will be one of my favorite Gators because he had to "earn" his excellence and that's just what he did, got better every year and became a dominant presence by his Sr year. His media career was going great too, in my opinion. I enjoyed his work. Be well Patrick!
Yes he has always been a favorite for good reason. Well said about earning his achievements here. Wifey has nothing but positive things to say about Patrick when she sees him at work. As far as the dogs go the patients seem to love them. Maybe one day our bernese mountain dog will be calm enough to become one as well but she still has too much puppy exuberance to be one at this time.
