As a person who believes organized religion is a con game I really don’t have a dog in this fight. I’ve heard both sides say the Constitution will protect democracy via the 25th Amendment, and if that doesn’t work we have the old reliable 2nd Amendment. Both sides need to take a breath with that thought. Sure the right is great at breaking things and smearing feces inside the Capital Building but the left has already shown they’re willing to attempt assassinations.

Having said that there’s a reason Christianity is dying in this country, and Trump is the one killing it.

Also, globally the church is growing. There is no "American" church. The church is the global body of believers. Period. Borders mean nothing.

I'm sorry but USAID funding was already approved by Congress. NIH contracts already approved. CFPB approved. DOE approved. Why are funds being removed from New York's City's bank account and these funds abruptly stopping if it's "read-only"? That's BS

 

I don't know about a pastor leaning right, but I heard a rumor that a president leaning right told people to invade the Capitol and fight in 2021.

 

Off topic but to your point you live in a religious bubble. The Church is indeed dying, and to my point it’s because white evangelical leaders have used religion to extort money from people using fear, and pushing a MAGA agenda as how Christians are supposed to act and believe. People aren’t buying it anymore and telling organized religion to stick it.

It is funny how they let liberal politicians flat out call for violence but Trump simply uses the phrase "fight like hell" and he is an insurrectionist. I wonder how many democrat politicians have never used the phrase fight like hell?

You should take your fingers out of your ears, and you might hear the truth. Trump did tell people to fight on Jan. 6th, 2021. And then they did fight and invade the Capitol. It's kind of a fact at this point.

 

Where were you and Bluke a couple years ago when that MAGA pastor was calling for violence? He was later on endorsed by Trump when he ran for office
