I got some stuff hacked about a year ago. They got into my Indeed account, which I still don't really understand why. I went across the board and made my password way way more sophisticated. But I'm sure all my old information and stuff is still out there in the abyss

Wasn't that a department store back in the day? I know my mom got their catalogs.

Awesome. Dougie, Gregie and the rest of Omega Theta Pi are in charge of our national defense. I feel so much safer now.

Think we could get a "work song" or something while you tote that water?

I agree on it not being uncommon. I can't say for sure if I have or not, but the chances are pretty good. Probably so for many on this board.

You probably know this, but when hackers breach these large companies and exfiltrate databases, passwords are sometimes included. If the table includes password hashes, and you have a weak password, using a rainbow table can reveal the password. These are then used for credential-stuffing attacks.

Credential-stuffing works because a ton of people use the same password across many sites.

You could probably buy a table of passwords for $7 on the deepweb, lol.

Exactly. I’m sure if the media decided to look into it they would find passwords from people on both sides of the aisle.

My Visa got hacked last month. All they did was buy $90.00 worth of Panda Express, in Florida (I live in Virginia.)
