In another insult to professionals trying to protect america, dt appoints his favorite parking garage consultant to lead one of the most important criminal prosecution offices in the country.

Even hardcore red lawyers realize what a slap in the face to good people in the justice department this is

    Do we feel safer now?

compare the resumes of people who have held the office to the maga mouthpiece

fyi, this is the same seat that the young lady that "resigned" from was just found dead. A seriously accomplished young woman who had risen up to lead the office with honor and integrity.

Replaced by a maga mouthpiece that doesn't even know how to enter a piece of evidence at trial.

Former State Police Director Slams Trump Pick: "A Disgraceful New Low for U.S. Attorneys"

Arkansas high profile trial lawyer Tom Mars, a former police officer and Director of the Arkansas State Police, announced his disapproval of President Donald Trump‘s pick for interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.

Mars, who also served as General Counsel for retail giant Walmart, wrote on X: “Trump parks his personal attorney and former parking garage General Counsel, Alina Habba (who doesn't even know how to introduce exhibits), in a powerful law enforcement position once held by Chris Christie and Robert Cleary. A disgraceful new low for U.S. Attorneys.”
    ....................
Before being U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Robert Cleary — whom Mars cites as one of Habba’s more qualified predecessors — served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, eventually became Chief of the Major Crimes Unit, and was appointed lead prosecutor in the Unabomber case, United States v. Theodore J. Kaczynski. In February 2024, Cleary was appointed as a bankruptcy examiner in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings of cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

As we have recently seen, the appointment of sycophant ideologues has already worked well with the leak of war intelligence, the deportation snafus, the RFK experiment, so here we are. Don't hire for competence and this is what we have.

I understand that politics rewards loyal supporters, but doesn't Trump know any that are qualified for the jobs he appoints them to?

Trump’s Favorite Attorney Alina Habba Tried to Turn Down His Job Offer

Donald Trump’s new pick for the interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Alina Habba, disclosed on Thursday that she didn’t even want her plum new job in the first place.

In a Thursday interview with Real America’s Voice, she revealed that she initially tried to turn down the offer—telling Trump that she “did not” want to leave the White House, where she had been serving as the president’s counselor. However, after much pushing on his part, she realized that she seemingly had no choice.
