    it appears to me they deported him because he was here illegally

    But you say that people who are here legally are here illegally too. So, what does legal status actually matter?

    Like a classroom in dysfunction and a new instructor comes in and has to rein them in, not surprising. Have no problem with it. Maybe on re-entry things will be done correctly and we can say WELCOME TO AMERICA!
