Its so hilarious and sad at the same time watching all of you argue over whats better... a shit sandwich or just plain shit.

You all keep laughing at the other side for the same exact things your side does. Its truly bizarre watching each of you fight eachother for the moral high ground.

That's true, in that neither side has ever meaningfully tried to solve the issue in any legitimateway. Well, not since Reagan anyway.

But you have to admit: it's a little worse for one side to also babble and lie about solving it, and frame the whole thing in fear-mongering racist terms. As they do nothing to legitimately solve the issue.

    There's a difference.

No doubt this is an issue and problem but the fact that 400,000 are not being actively tracked doesn’t mean 400,000 are in danger.

Interestingly the ones who are faking like they care about this were not concerned at all when children were being separated from their parents at the border and also would be quite content if these people, including the unaccompanied children were turned away at the border to fend for themselves in Mexico or some other hell hole.

    Save the crocodile tears.

Yeah, this makes me feel so much better. Not all of the 400,000 kids are in danger. Just some of them, y'all.

Trump institutes a policy to separate children from parents, does not pass a border security bill when in office, builds a partial wall that's falling down, torpedoes a border security bill because it would help his political opponent, then goes to the border with his large crowd of five supporters and whines about border security. He has weakened the country in so many ways to appease his own ego. How can anyone vote for him?

    Complete and utter nonsense.
Obama set-up those facilities to keep immigrants using children to get into the country under false pretenses.

No kidding over 300k minors released to god knows who and either the Feds have no clue where they are or they never showed for hearings and the majority of the left here ignores it, makes jokes about them voting or brings up stupid shit about TOG.

If it was happening under Trump(the guy chastised for separating “families”) it still happened under Biden. So much for really giving a crap.

Obama did set up the facilities for unaccompanied minors to spend no more than 48 hours before being released. Family units were kept together.

Trump used then to keep all kids, separate from families, and kept the kids there for weeks. There is no comparison.

The Feds under both Trump and Biden have lost unaccompanied kids. But kids under Obama and Biden were never purposely separated from parents. And again, the bipartisan border bill would've helped with the backlog and find some of these kids. But Trump killed the bill.

The distinction being those children back then were not our responsibility. Once we release them into the U.S. it’s kinda on us to keep up with them. There are all sorts of unfortunate things that happen outside our border. We can’t fix the world. But we can have our shit in order. That’s the difference.

Do you just know nothing about this, or are you deliberately saying things that you know are untrue?

Maybe you think you know something about this, because you've read fake news on fake news sites, so you actually think that the incorrect things you say are true?

In any case, you are wrong. You should learn more if you will be opining.

    From the L.A. Times.
Immigration fact check: ‘Who built the cages?’
“They did it (Trump stated). We changed the policy and they built the cages. We did not build the cages.” Did the Obama administration build the cages?

The Obama administration did build the cages Trump alluded to. The facility Trump mentioned was built with chain-link fencing by the Obama administration in 2014 in a warehouse in Nogales, Ariz. The makeshift shelter was built in response to an exodus of unaccompanied immigrant children from Central America. But those children did not arrive with their parents; they were unaccompanied. The shelter was not being used as part of a child separation policy, and U.S. border agents did not separate those children from their parents.

I’m fine with the arrangement that workers come over if we could just trade them some non workers.
