yes he did, but not enough to win and again it goes back to consistency or the lack there of. You're not going to win many games in this league without solid qb play, week after week.
And yes I agree there are many components to winning, for instance Trask was all that but a horrendous D kept us from going all the way.

Confession. I didn't watch the 2nd half. Studying and it's just not enjoyable enough to take the study time hit. Saw the Interceptions just now. Oof. That throwing flat footed off the back foot just wasn't a thing last year and most of the Utah game. I'm afraid the mental issues he's having is not going to get fixed, at least in short time. Can't imagine anyone else would be a worse option at this time even if just to be a game manager and nothing else

Well, maybe. His ceiling would be high if the light comes on. But will it..

You're discounting that BN and Co believe our backups are worse than an AR that does not run the ball.
If I had to bet I would say it's because he/they know that for AR to succeed in the draft, he has to develop and demonstrate passing skills.
I don't know- I really don't. But one might suspect he doesn't know the plays, does not know naturally where to find his receivers on plays. Remember how Danny knew where his receivers would be and threw in advance? Not seeing that kind of anticipation here. But I am speculating like the rest of us.

Well, the concerns expressed in a thread about AR leaving after this year is somewhat unlikely now. So, we can relax, AR likely here next season.

Most of the issues have been with ball placement moreso than poor reads. Not to say he's read everything perfectly but if he was just on target the results would improve massively.

Initially and mainly yes but he has started making some bizarre decisions refusing to take check downs or missing recievers running free. The throwing while standing upright and on his back foot and using nothing but arm to sling it on the interception was just totally unlike his prior form. It mirrored EJs last year. His regression is just bizarre
