OT: Guy dresses up as an UGA fan and went to Knoxville last week….

I use to go up to Tellico slot and I enjoy the mountains up tgat way but I’d never want to live there. Yes, climate is a big factor along with no salt water.

 

Absolutely NO. If you cannot control your anger at a football game b/c somebody trolls you, YOU are the danger to society. We have FAR to many people who “fire for effect” and this guy is one. AND that does not mean you get to “knock him out.”

I do not know you but I practiced martial arts for a LONG time. Martial arts buddy was confronted at a sporting event and felt a swing was about to be taken. Hit the guy (while blocking to him). Guy dropped and hit his head on a curb - died. Manslaughter charges. My friend was able to establish self defense but jacking some clown up who is jawing like this guy and going to prison for manslaughter. Be smarter.

 

Not only that but he probably walked around for hours to make is five minute video. Fans are fans. Some are idiots doesn’t matter the team.

 

People these days are obsessed by things that aren’t important. Sports being the tip of the iceberg.

My family? Mostly Alabama and Auburn. I love them.

My friends from high school? Probably near 50% FSU. I’m still friends with many and love them too.

Friends I’ve met over the years? LSU, UGA, Texas, Tennessee, Louisville, ect. I love them all.

I’ve been shown acts of kindness by fans of MS State, Texas, FSU, Bama, Auburn, you name it.

That random person you see walking around with some other team’s gear on could be just like any those people, and in turn just like YOU.

Football for me is fun and entertainment and nothing more. There are a LOT of people out there who need to take a long look in the mirror. Including me, it’s good for you.

Yes not going to lie I miss hooking up a big snook or redfish. Also the trout fishing and mountains are better in Colorado. It's not a terrible place I guess, could be in Michigan, Wisconsin, etc... but also not great. Very average.

 

Yes, people like him add no value and are jerks. The homophobic slurs by UT fans are at least as bad (worse to me but still only words). But what “ruins” such events (and lives) is violence.

Hopi Indians used to ignore jerks - literally not look or react to them. It is what we should and I feel disappointed in myself that I clicked on that video. In any event, meeting, idiotic words with more idiotic words, or worse violence, is certainly not the answer.

One of these social media “pranksters” (I have other terms for them I won’t post here) has already been shot by a fearful food delivery driver, when does it end? When someone is dead? Several people? This is a symptom of the decay of our society, where decency and consideration for others has fallen by the wayside and everything is all about me and constantly seeking attention like an infant.

 

In general I hope every youtuber/ticktocker/Twitch streamer intentionally antagonizing people for "content" gets punched in the face as often as possible.

 

No doubt, but if you beg for someone to punch you in the mouth, one of these low class hillbilllies are likely to grant your wish. The guy asking for it and then wanting his dadddy to sue someone makes me just as pissed. That guy deserves whatever he gets.

 

No doubt, many carry these days and pranks gone wrong are just stupid. I’m all for ridiculing my bros and embarrassing them as best I can but trying to intentionally piss off strangers that may be unhinged in the first place is somewhere I don’t go.

 

He does roll up like an armadillo when approached, and most people won’t kick a rolled up armadillo, but eventually someone will give him what he’s asking for. I certainly won’t shed a tear if he’s removed from the gene pool.

 

People should give mutual respect. If I could have made the game tonight and we won, I’d never mock those pathetic fsu fans after the game. If we lost, I’d not be in the mood to have that little shit in my face. I wouldn’t deck him but I’m older now.

 

The same we expect Gator players to not take the bait when an opposing player tries to rile them up to commit a personal foul is the same way a person has to control themselves and not commit assault on a person trolling them over a sporting event. Sure it might feel good to deck someone like this, but it’s definitely not worth having that criminal assault charge on your record, especially if you’re a college student whose professional career hasn’t even started yet.

 

Absolutely. All I’m saying is I’m not upset if the kid got punched in the mouth. I’m not going to do it but I’d definitely get a chuckle as long as it was only a split lip.
People need to learn better manners and it shows when you’ve never been punched in the mouth.
