Wrong. Colorado was in the pac 12 in 2022. This keeps getting ignored and factored into their turnaround.

Their schedule in 2022 was very different than their big 12 schedule. So while I agree Colorado is better than they were in 2022, they are nowhere near our resident fanboys claim and their improvement is heavily weighted on the backs of two NFL level players one of which he's related to. Just like I said about Napier and us, year 3 is his. No excuses.

Wonder why they lost to Nebraska and Kansas? Where were the threads about how great Colorado was when they lost to two 6 loss teams? I'm sure those games will be wins next year when Sanders and tucker are gone right?

Imagine the threads from oke if florida lost to those schools....

You keep repeating the same tired argument, but you don't just go from 1-11 to 12-0 in two years. Going from 1-11 to 9-3 is pretty good. Most fans would take that in a heartbeat. If Colorado had the most fertile recruiting grounds in-state and the recruiting prowess to turn it around sooner, we both know Sanders would have taken full advantage and they'd probably be 11-1 or 12-0 right now. But again, it's Colorado, they've sucked for a long time and it's not a great place to recruit talent. It's actually a minor miracle that Sanders has been able to attract the coaching talent he has to a place like Boulder. Yes, it's nice there, but it gets cold. Sanders ability to hire top notch assistant coaches tells me enough. It tells me people want to work and play for Deion Sanders. Love him or hate him, the evidence is clear.

Colorado sent shockwaves through the recruiting world Thursday night when the Buffaloes landed 2025 commitments from IMG Academy defenders London Merritt and Alexander McPherson, offensive tackle Carde Smith and wide receiver Quentin Gibson, all in the span of 30 minutes. The four prospects announced their pledges in consecutive live appearances on "Nightcap," a nighttime talk show hosted by former NFL stars Shannon Sharpe and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

Colorado's flurry of late-night commitments came seven days after the Buffaloes secured a seismic pledge from five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, ESPN's No. 2 overall prospect in 2025. With the additions, coach Deion Sanders holds 15 commitments in an incoming recruiting class that sits 50th in ESPN's latest class rankings just days before the early signing period opens Wednesday.

Merritt, No. 52 in the ESPN 300, marks the highest-profile pledge among the newcomers bound for Colorado. ESPN's No. 5 defensive end prospect, Merritt was the fourth-ranked member of Ohio State's 2025 class before he pulled his pledge from the Buckeyes on Tuesday. Merritt now sits behind Lewis as the Buffaloes' second-ranked commit in the cycle.

Colorado adds 4 prospects, including No. 5 DE

Here you go for all the Colorado fans. No need to post about a team that has nothing to do with the SEC or Florida implications. Not sure why the Mods keep this alive.

It appears Prime Time has finally got a HS talent conveyer belt churning in Boulder. Colorado has shot up to #33 in the 247 sports 2025 football recruiting class rankings. This is significant as Colorado's 2025 class are now rated as the 2nd best class in the Big 12, with several other HS prospects on deck. Deion has been good utilizing the portal... he is just now getting the HS relationships built and seeing the fruitage.

I am locking this thread since it is, by definition, more appropriate on the Colorado recruiting board and this is Gator Country. If it re-appears in Awesome Recruiting instead I'll just delete it.

There is a thread there (in AR) for other schools recruiting: Transfer Portal Thread (Other Schools)

I think we've discussed the Colorado program and its current coach enough.
