So, the DNC braintrust that’s been saying Joe Biden is fine and will make a great potus into 2029 are admitting the mindless rhetoric they’ve been selling for the last year was just a lie. Who believes anything coming out of a lefties mouth?

BTW, if Trump is elected potus, he shouldn’t deport all illegal aliens as many of them are quite proficient operating on a sloped roof and can be used in the SS.

The Democrats should be ashamed on how they treated Biden. They are about WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY!!!!

What they're saying publicly and how they actually feel are two different things. While they want him to drop out they don't want to embarrass him publicly. There is also the possibility albeit irrational that publicly calling for Biden to drop out could increase his resistance to doing so.

Alternatively, they could have just changed their mind. I know I did. I voted for Biden in 2020 (really against Trump), but within a year or so I regretted this vote. And the debate again changed my views on Biden. I’d hate to think that my holding a different view today equates to me lying yesterday.

That said, both the Democratic and Republican parties are corporations that act only to further their own interests, so I would never have looked to either of them for truth regardless.

@Gator40, Why do you disagree? Haven't the Democrats proved this?

Biden admits he was supposed to be a transitional President.

By standing by him in public in times of trouble, but then behind the doors urging him to step aside because it's best for his health, the party, and the country?

If anything, it's possibly Jill Biden and Joe's close inner circle are the ones who did him wrong, but all Democrats who are politely urging him to do what's best for everyone involved?

Why do you accuse all Democrats of this? Explain yourself.

When it was convenient to have Biden as President/run for a 2nd term it was fine, but when it looks like Trump will trounce him in November then they want him to opt out. It just seems cruel to me from one Person to another. I don't agree with his policies, but he is still an AMERICAN/HUMAN!!!! I would feel that way about the GOP if they did this. This kinda reminds me of how cruel nole fans were when they wanted Jimbo instead of Bowden. It just seems like the Democrats are about "What have you done for me lately".

There has been backlash since the day he decided to run again.

There is always those that do not want particular individuals to run, but this attack of their own by the Dems is unreal.

I’m not sure I follow this. The person Dems pick to represent them shouldn’t be given as an honor or reward for what they did in the past. But who can best do the job over the next 4 years.

Sorry, I was just trying to say Dems backed him until it was bleak looking. That's all.

I wish the constituents on both sides would be strong enough to voice discontent when they feel deep down that the candidate is ill-suited to serve the Country.

I agree with that. I think the GOP did this with Ronald Regan in his 2nd term. It was 2 years into his 2nd term that he was clearly not himself and his dementia became a problem according to Bill O'Reilly.
