I've explained it before. He feels that no one can do the job better than him. He feels he's the only one that can beat Trump. He feels he's what's best for the country. You become POTUS because you feel that you're the best person to lead almost 400 million people. There's no way you'd let someone tell you otherwise. All of the threats of withholding money won't come to fruition once they realize it's either Biden or Trump. Of course they'll choose Biden

First question I would ask them: didn’t you have a primary?

Yes, but they couldn’t have foreseen Biden’s Sudden Onset Brain Rot.

You think they are gonna keep pouring money into a candidate who is in the state Biden is in?
I don’t think they will keep it at the same pace compared to when he was more cognitively intact.

As far as Biden thinking he’s the best guy for the job it’s about like my Alzheimer’s patients who can remember how to get home from around the block but when you ask them they are driving “just fine”.
Denial is common with cognitive decline for some.

When was that ? Hard questions were being asked about his mental faculties in 2020. It’s just that the media wasn’t terribly curious.

Research data that proves that Trump LIES constantly when he falsely claims migrants are prone to violence.

    FB_IMG_1721439658376.jpg

Trump is following the authoritarian playbook. He finds a scapegoat to blame for all our problems, in this case migrants, and hammers them over and over with LIES that they are violent invaders who will take all our jobs. In this way, he spreads resentment, anger, hatred and distrust of our institutions among those who believe him. He then presents himself as their savior, saying: "ONLY I CAN FIX IT!" This has been his strategy since he came down the elevator in Trump Plaza.

So was Plessy vs Ferguson and it was thankfully overturned.

Meh. What we see as of late is a much bigger step downward from 2020.

I keep flipping back on forth on whether or not Biden gets out of the race. He's a stubborn old koot and I think he stays in, he is still probably a little pissed that they passed him over in 2016 and went with Hillary instead. He's probably right, he would have beaten Trump in 2016.

They didn’t pass him over. His favorite son, Beaux, died immediately before the candidates get in for the primaries and he chose not to run.

Biden ran as a “transitional candidate” in 2020. You do understand the Dems are merely begging him to keep a campaign promise at this point? He’s a megalomaniac and a fraud.

Yep I saw that in nyt and and now right wing sites are picking it up.
But more info is needed. That was a more competitive primary and difficult to believe they could force Biden out. And both Obamas liked Joe. He just lost his son in 2015 and the interview I saw of him at the time he wasn’t doing well.

Just to continue the discussion, he was Obama's vice president and like Harris now, would not he have been the presumptive person for the Democrats to go with in 2016. Granted there was the Clinton factor and the first woman to be President factor with Hillary to consider.

Although there are some other doofuses who post on here, no one rivals good ole Okee. So, I am finally going to block him.

He probably would have beaten Trump if he made the general, but I'm not sure he would have beaten Hillary in that primary.

@gator_lawyer you gave me a come on man, do you think Plessy v Ferguson shouldn't have been overturned? Don't answer, I know you do.

I gave you a c'mon man because you were trying to compare Roe to Plessy. Gr8t's point was that even if there was precedent, it wouldn't carry much weight with the current SCOTUS if they disagreed with it. He pointed to Roe as an example. Plessy wasn't relevant to that conversation.
