(VB) Ongoing Volleyball Thread

Ok baconers, what will they miss that is of great importance over and beyond what I wrote? Hey, I could be wrong, despite running preseason workouts before. I’m only human after all.

 

I respect your knowledge and experience, But, in my opinion, every rep and team interaction is valuable.
Three months together cannot be replicated in fall practice. JMHFO.

 

You may well be right…it is a long time but these girls will have the best of everything while separated. Hopefully AC and Hutson will hold down the fort in the early going outside if need be. We are loaded.

 

I hope we get a sophomore jump out of Madi Gravlee too. She came in when blocking was needed after Stucky was hurt so maybe she fills out the depth at MB. It's obvious she has talent. It's up to the coaches to get out of her.

Madi ties into the come early or not conversation. Both Hutson and Martin came early, and they were able to join the starting lineup right from the get-go of the season. Gravlee came in the summer and only worked up to spot duty. Let's hope Auguste and Harden being the top All-American that they are do not have Gravlee's learning curve. We need them up to speed as soon as possible, same for Bella Lee.

For those who are members of the Attack Club or are considering it, here is the list of Exhibition Matches that will be played this spring.
The Attack Club is the most active women's booster club in women's sports. We have several receptions with interactions with the players. Dave Boos also gives some chalk talks before some home matches. Join us.

Jackie Hensel, Director of Volleyball Operations, has given us the Gator Volleyball Spring match schedule. There will be one home match, time not yet scheduled but will be coordinated with the UF football orange and blue game.

Looks like we just beat LSU with our best score of the season, a sensational 198.150! Congrats ladies.

Mary is not getting caught short of setters again.

 

Surprised it took so long to announce Bella Lee-----3 setters deep is a good thing with Alexis coming serious injury.

 

Neither of these can enroll until the summer, I believe.
